Quality Plating was started in 1979 by Reginald Collins with his wife Patricia. Reginald had gotten his chemistry degree from Oklahoma State University and worked at Rockwell until he set off on his own to create Quality Plating. He started small with only a handful of employees, many of whom were family members. He continued to work passionately as the owner for 40 years, with employees who had been with him since the beginning and always with family members. Through his passion and commitment the company, and the building grew to the size it is today.

 

Just before 2020 Reg began the process of turning over the running of the company to his children. After growing up at "The Shop" they were ready to step up to the helm. They now own and run the almost 50 employee company with the same love and dedication that they saw their dad give through his lifetime.
